Under governmental aggregation, the Village of Versailles acts on behalf of natural gas consumers in the Village to negotiate a gas supply contract with eligible suppliers. Both the Village of Versailles and IGS Energy must be certified by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The Village of Versailles voters approved the implementation of the program and Village Council Members approved Ordinance No. 03-02 on January 28, 2003. The aggregation program for the Village of Versailles renewed with IGS Energy beginning with the October 2016 Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio (Vectren) billing period and ends with the September 2018 billing period.
The price under the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program is $0.446 per CCF through the Vectren September 2018 billing period. This fixed rate of $0.446 per CCF is lower than any other 12 month fixed rate with no cancellation fee available in the marketplace according to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio “Apples to Apples” rate comparison sheet of competitive suppliers as of July, 2017. There is no charge to sign up and no charge to cancel.
If you wish to discontinue your involvement in the Village of Versailles Natural Gas Aggregation Program, you may contact IGS Energy at 1-877-353-0162 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. EST.
