The Village of Versailles will receive sealed bid proposals for professional electrical engineering services regarding its E. Water Street and Greenlawn electric distribution substation upgrade project, including voltage regulator additions, switch improvements, and other miscellaneous work, until Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 10:00 am local time at the Administrative Building Conference Room, 177 North Center Street, Versailles, OH at which time and place will be publically opened and read aloud.
Copies of the specifications as prepared by Sawvel and Associates, Inc., 100 East Main Cross Street, Suite 300, Findlay, OH 45840, may be obtained by contacting Sawvel and Associates, Inc. (419) 422-4812.
This notice will also be published on the Village of Versailles website and may be accessed by going to the website homepage, www.versaillesohio.cc.
Each proposal shall be signed by the full name and business address of each person or company interested in the same; shall be accompanied by a surety bond from a bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio, or by a certified check on some solvent bank in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of the submitted proposal, the surety bond or certified check being payable to the Village of Versailles, OH as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into.
The Village of Versailles Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals; to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the Village of Versailles.
