Swimming Pool Schedule
The Versailles Swimming Pool will open for the season on Monday, May 26th and close on Saturday, August 23rd. Hours may be modified due inclement weather throughout the season. Pool hours for 2014 will be Monday - Friday: 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Saturdays: 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sundays: 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Plan to buy your 2014 family pool pass early at the Village Administrative Building! Visa or MasterCard will be accepted to pay for season passes at the Village Administrative Building only; however, a 3% convenience fee charge will be added to the total amount due for the pass, or please mail the completed form, along with payment, to the address listed on the form, or drop it off at the Administrative Building before 4:30 pm, Friday, May 23th. Beginning Monday, May 26th forms should be taken to the pool. The swimming pool general admission charges will remain the same this year as the last five years.
General Admission rates will be as follows: Adult - $3.50; Child 3-17 - $2.50; and Children 2 & Under are free. Season family pass rates will also remain the same and will be as follows: One Adult (head of household) - $65.00; One Adult + One Immediate Family Member - $85.00; One Adult + Two Immediate Family Members - $95.00; One Adult + Three Immediate Family Members - $105.00; and One Adult + Four or More Immediate Family Members - $115.00.
Please remember, family season passes are limited to immediate family members only, with at least one parent or legal guardian as the pass holder. The Village defines “Immediate Family Member” as a parent or legal guardian and their MINOR or DEPENDENT COLLEGE STUDENT children only. Adult children who live on their own or have their own families must purchase their own individual or family season pass. Also, it is not permissible to have an older sibling as the pass holder on a pass with younger siblings and it is also not permissible to add grandchildren, grandparents, cousins, babysitters, or any other non-immediate family members to a family season pass.
Swimming Pool Swimming Lesson Schedule Announced
The Versailles Swimming Pool will conduct public swimming lessons the weeks of June 16-19 and June 23-26, and July 14-17 and July 21-24. The lessons are for two weeks, four days per week. Lessons will be conducted in the morning, and the times will be determined by participant’s ability (beginners: 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. and advanced: 11:15 a.m. to 12:00 noon).
The cost of swimming lessons is $25.00 per person per two-week session for season pass holders, and $40.00 per person per two-week session for non-season pass holders. Private swimming lessons are also available by request.
A registration form is required to be completed prior to children participating in swimming lessons. For more information, please stop by the pool or call 526-5154 during regular pool hours.
